The past weeks been crazy in our household. My youngest child got sick last week of January because she contracted Bacterial Infection. I was relieved that she got well after 5 days and after 2 trips at the hospital to get her cbc. Anyways, more than a week later, it was my husband who got sick with high fever, cough and cold. When he had his cbc checked, his platelet count was almost near the borderline. I got so tensed and prayed so hard that he would be well. He went back and forth to the hospital, too, for checkups and for his blood drawn. Thankfully, he recovered.
However, it was my eldest daughter and my turn to get sick. Yes, we got sick at the same time. But I was more worried for my daughter coz she had school play to look forward to, she had exam that she needed to take, etc. After 3 days of getting sick, my daughter and I had our cbc checked. I had a viral infection and my pharyngitis worsened. But the sad part was, my eldest daughter's platelet was low and she needs to be admitted at the hospital right away. Against her will, there was nothing she could do but I was also there at the hospital staying with her because we were both sick.
My daughter's platelet dropped as days passed and it was a nightmare. Yes, she had Dengue and it's one of the dreaded illnesses in our country these days. My daughter was a positive thinker but when her platelet got lower, she finally broke down. It hurts to see your loved one in this situation and there's nothing you can do but to cry, too, and pray that the doctors will do everything and that the Lord will heal my daughter.
But God was truly merciful as He had slowly restored my child's health. A little increase in her platelet was good news already and we were so thankful for it. Finally, my daughter was discharged and we will just have a followup checkup nextweek. We had her cbc checked, too, and it was finally normal.
I thank the Lord for answering our prayers. And He even cured me. When we got home I was not still feeling very well but I know Jesus will restore back my health. All I have to do is trust in Him.
I have too many things to say, so many to thank but I guess it will never be enough. So, I'll just say my thanks in here to everyone who prayed and for the Lord for His healing power. Thank You, Lord God!

Hi hi
Unsure if you still remember me but I used to follow your blog ages ago. Have not been active because updating blogspot in China, where I am living now is a pain. Took some time to visit my inactive blogs with an attempt to update some post if I can and came across your blog again.
Anyway, just a way to keep in touch and wish you and your loved ones the very best. Will try to revisit whenever I am free.
By the way, my blogs were babynme2008.blogspot.com, a new babynme2012.blogspot.com and my travelling and photography blog, mynikonni.blogspot.com
Take care.
RODNEY
