No Worries!

I saw a picture of my friend in one social network. He was holding his brand new motorcycle so I sent him a message congratulating on his new purchase. He replied and told me he wasn't at first planning to buy his bike but changed his mind for he thought it was useful on his way to work. He said he browsed online about top 10 motorcycle gps and it was where he found his bike. Now, he's happy with his bike for he won't be lost anymore especially that he is living in another country.

I Am Thankful =)

I have many reasons to be thankful because aside from my family, I have friends who are wonderful and generous enough to remember me. Before this month ends, I would like to take this opportunity to the people here and abroad who never fail to remember me. And for those who remembered my birthday, thank you! Those who gave me gifts are greatly appreciated but it's your thought that the really counts.

I am thanking my sister-in-law and my brother who gave me a beautiful birthday gift. It was given a few days after my day. And since they knew me very well, they gave me a 2011 planner. I've always had a planner every year and thanks to them, I now own one =). They also gave me a necklace with a beautiful gift-box shaped pendant. I feel so loved, hehe. Thank you Bogie and Tonypet for this awesome gift!

I also received a keychain from Eleanor. She arrived from Singapore end of December and when we had a mini reunion with the Glee Clubbers, she gave each one of us key chains. Thank you very much for this! Thanks also for sharing to me some blogging tips ;-)

Another person I would like to express my thanks goes to Amy. She came home all the way from Florida to visit her family and she found ways and means to see me, too. She gave me a Victoria Secret perfume, Lever and Dial soaps, blanket for her goddaughter Zoe, goodies for Chloe and she gave to us the beads she got from Mardi gras. Thank you for that Amy but it was really good to see you. I'm happy of where you are right now. I'm happy to see you happy :)

And just yesterday, I received a message from a dear friend, Jess, a former co-worker of mine who is now based in Saudi Arabia. He informed me that he left me 'pasalubong' (gift/souvenir) from our common friend. Hubby got it for me on his way home from the office. Jess knew that I love Toblerone chocolate so he set aside 2 bars for me and 2 Drakkar Noir for my hubby. Well, these people made me happy. Because it's nice to be remembered even though we hardly see each other...

Thanking My Generous Friends

I'm so blessed to have friends like them!!!

My dear friend Amy (a blogger - Amiable Amy & Business Matters), is very generous. No wonder she is always blessed. She sent me a package thru her mom long time ago. I guess that was still last year. But I don't know their place until we transferred to another house. Her mom and I never crossed paths until today. Her mom was so kind to text me and brought the package for me. I met her this afternoon near my place. So kind of them. Amy dear, thank you so much for always being thoughtful and for counting me as your friend. I am so blessed to have a friend like you! Salamat for the pasalubong ;-)

Another friend that I would like to thank is not a blogger. Her name is Malou, a nurse and a doctor by profession. She is now based in Illinois. I forgot to post about her Christmas gifts for me last December09. I cannot even find the pics I took of the gifts she gave to my daughter Chloe, Malou's godchild. Chloe loved her gifts that she's using it on special occasions. I shall always be thankful for her and for her generosity. The pictures below were her gifts for me:

Ozamiz City

We went to Ozamiz City the other weekend for a very important transaction and at the same time, to visit my BFF Katrina. The last time I was in Ozamiz was when I was in Grade 1. I studied my nursery in there, too, but because of my dad's work, we kept on transferring from one place to another.

Katrina is my best friend in high school here in CDO. Her Chinese-Fil husband lives in Ozamiz so she settled in there for good. She kept on inviting me visit her place but it never happened. But finally, it did happen and my husband and Chloe went along with me :-) We stayed there overnight at their guest house (with superb accommodation!) and I hope to go back in there to see their Dolphin Island, too. I posted some pictures below. Some will be posted at Chloe's Blog.

My Bag and Friends

What's Inside My Purse/Bag?

I was asked by Maria, Demcy & Amy what's inside the bag that I am currently using. It took me sometime to think about it because I use different bags on different occasions (or depending on my mood), although I have a favorite bag, but recently, I've been changing it from one bag to another.

I love my Nine West bag that was given to me by an aunt in LA. My Xoxo bag was a gift from my aunt in Chicago. I love it coz it's small and handy and I use it whenever I feel girly. I used this when we went malling but I use my red bag last Sunday when we went to the church to match my red shoes. I love red, you know.

My pink Supergirl bag is used when I went to hospital duty. This bag is made of cloth and it's very light but I can put a lot of stuff inside including my scrub suit and other materials needed at work.

So, you see, I don't have a permanent bag. I use it when I feel like it. But whatever bag I'm using, you can always find my N70 cellphone or my Nokia 2630 cellphone, my sergio rossi wallet, my lipstick, pressed powder and my house key.

I am currently thinking of my friend who I did not see for years. She was my best friend and until now she still is. However, things were not the same as before, since we now live far from each other. We used to hang out a lot and were inseparable. But time came when I was too preoccupied with work that I didn’t get to spend time with her. When things went wrong with her, I was furious. But I also felt guilty about it, for not being there for her when she was lost. I thought that things would have been prevented had I been there to guide her. But since our friendship mattered the most, we tried our best to put the flaws aside and live life as it is. She returned to her hometown and I remained here. But I missed her. She’s a friend who was my exact opposite, yet we clicked. She always listened to me, even if I gave her some constructive criticism, she always took it positively. Even after I scolded her with what had happened to her, she still listened and held on to me, saying she'd try her best to make amends and make the wrong things right. Nowadays, even though we don’t get to see each other, we still communicate by phone, but not as often. Sometimes, she would tell me she’s OK and contented, however, at times I can feel that she’s lonely. I'm reminded of the song that we used to sing. I always dedicate this song to her whenever I play it on my guitar...
