The Nutcracker Ballet Show

Chloe joined The Nutcracker Ballet show last December 18, 2011. It was held at Rodelsa Hall at Liceo. If you can see her poses in this pictures, well, she's really good in projecting. However, her dance movement still needs improvement, hehe. We, her family, were all out support on her. She likes to dance and she likes to be on the stage, so, why should we contradict her? hehe. We can never tell what the future may bring on her ;-)

Yes or No?

Chloe's quite excited for another ballet presentation this coming December. It is all about Nutcracker but am still quite hesitant to have her joined though I already agreed to it. I'm a bit worried it might be in conflict with her school activities and another thing, ballet is quite expensive :-)

But that's always expected for the payment covers their costumes, fee for the venue and other production costs. All the parents are going to do is to go there and watch their children perform onstage. If she can really join the show, I told myself not to let her join big production next year for she had already experienced it :)

But if it will create conflict with school, then I might sit down again with Chloe and let her understand the situation. But for now, she can go on with her ballet class...

Ballet Show at SM

Chloe's ballet school had a show last October 9, 2011 held at SM Atrium. She was very excited and very much looking forward to join the dance.

I enrolled Chloe to a ballet school last April 2011. She was not a born dancer but thru practice, I guess she will be able to dance gracefully. She wanted to enroll in Hula Dance but later changed her mind to ballet since the school was also offering Hawaiian/ Tahitian Dance, which happened to be her favorite dance :).. Sharing to you some of the pictures taken during the program:

I love being a mommy to these kids. Someday, baby Zoe can join her Ate to dance on the stage and I'm sure, the stage mommy will always be there to support :D

Little Ballerinas

Sharing with you the video I took on Chloe last Sunday, October 9, 2011 to the tune of Little Mermaid's Allegro. She wore fuchsia pink tutu. Feel free to view:

This is what I wrote in my FB:

Chloe may not be a born dancer and not yet as graceful as the other pretty little ballerina girls :-) But with more practice and a little effort, I know one day she will be… Yet she made us proud when she danced on the stage last Sunday. She gave her best and that’s more than enough with us. We love you Chloe and we will always support you. Congrats also to GPDC for a successful show.

We Had a Busy Sunday

I was quite busy yesterday. I attended Chloe's ballet show at SM atrium at 4 pm but of course we have to be there by 2 pm. All of us went there including my hubby, baby and mother-in-law and father in law who supported my daughter.

Chloe's not really a born dancer but one way to develop this skill is to enroll her in a dance or ballet school. She was at first interested to join Hula dance because it was quite easy for her to sway. However, it was not offered last summer to that certain school so she decided to try ballet since the school was also offering tahitian dance. She joined the recital and after that, she didn't want to stop. So, until now, she's joining ballet class and although she's not yet that super graceful, at least she's trying to be and followed the right steps. I'm proud of my daughter whenever I see her onstage and she really tried to give her best. With constant practice and unending support, I know she will be as graceful like the swan, hehe..

Hubby and I were entertained with the show. Time spent were worth-it and the presentation was organized and close to perfect!

Chloe's Tahitian Dance

I enrolled Chloe in a ballet class this summer where the school also offered Polynesian Dance (Hawaiian, Tahitian, Hula), Modern, Jazz and Hip-hop dance. She's not really a good dancer for she's more musically-inclined. But she's determined and interested to learn so I let her join. Since it's summer, they practice ballet everyday for more than an hour from Monday-Friday. And finally, on May 28, 2011, Chloe joined her first-ever Ballet Recital (with Jazz & Polynesian Dance). I'll be sharing a video of her Tahiti Dance below, her favorite dance of all, hehe. I've posted this one on my Facebook I'll be posting it here again for others to see.
