CDO's Urban Oasis: Embracing Nature at Westwood Storeys

Discovering a Forest-inspired Condominium within the City

I attended a Blogger’s Teepee Day last Saturday afternoon, hosted by Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation (PDO). Initially, I hesitated to join since it was my youngest daughter's scheduled appointment with her developmental doctor earlier that day. Moreover, I had been physically and mentally exhausted for the past few weeks. However, I realized that participating in the activity would be a good idea to relax and give myself a break.

Attending the event turned out to be a wise decision because it provided me with the opportunity to explore and dream of one day owning a unit at Westwood Storeys. It's a forest-resort-inspired condo and Pueblo de Oro's latest venture into the vertical housing market, making it a distinctive condominium project. The condo is expected to be completed on April 28, 2028.

Westwood Storeys, surrounded by trees, presents a lifestyle that artfully blends the serenity of the forest with the conveniences of urban living. It stands as a low density condo, with only having seven floors. The development offers both studio and 2-bedroom units, with introductory prices ranging from P4 million to P8.9 million.

A Perfect Place to Live with my Family

I have envisioned myself and my family residing in this serene haven as it offers sanctuary in the city. It truly is an inviting place to call home, especially when I discovered that it is nestled amidst the 40-hectare Pueblo de Oro urban rainforest, offering breathtaking views of nature that transport one beyond the confines of city life.

This seven-tower condominium is situated in a prime location in Barangay Carmen of Cagayan de Oro City, approximately 3.9 kilometers from Pueblo Business Park. Setting it apart from its competitors, this condo offers fewer units spread across a larger land area. It only offers 989 units in a 5.2-hectare land, with each unit meticulously crafted to provide a haven of comfort, creating a warm and inviting ambiance.

Amenities at this condominium include kiddie and adult swimming pools, a playground, a multi-sport court, a clubhouse, Wi-Fi zones, and a guardhouse equipped with CCTV cameras for 24/7 monitoring, ensuring everyone's safety within the vicinity.

A Green Sustainable Development

Westwood Storeys also prioritizes green development, with a rainforest backdrop that allows residents to experience beautiful sunrises every day, complemented by a cool breeze and the earthy scent of nature. Residents will also have the opportunity to partake in outdoor activities, as the development will feature landscaped meditation decks, nature trails winding through lush green foliage, rain gardens, a natural green canopy, and a family picnic area. These amenities allow residents to connect with the symphony of nature.

Everything is Right at Heart of the City

When my fellow bloggers and I went to Westwood Storeys, we were picked up by a van from SM City uptown mall, and it took only a 10-minute ride to reach the area. Commercial hubs and business centers are nestled around the vicinity including schools, churches, malls, hotels and even convenience stores, making everything a family, like mine, would need within reach.

The event I attended was a resounding success, particularly because Pueblo de Oro effectively guided us in visualizing how the place would look in the future. I can easily picture myself and my family living there, or doing camping outside the unit and cherishing the breathtaking scenery that only Westwood Storeys can offer. Who knows, perhaps this dream of mine will become a reality.
