There is plenty of sightseeing to do in Manhattan. Sight-seeing tour buses can take up time that you can’t afford to lose. Instead download a subway app and hit the most important locations on your own. Take a stroll through Central Park if the weather allows and visit the zoo while you’re at it. Climb up the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. Take the ferry to Ellis Island.
