Chloe's Tahitian Dance

I enrolled Chloe in a ballet class this summer where the school also offered Polynesian Dance (Hawaiian, Tahitian, Hula), Modern, Jazz and Hip-hop dance. She's not really a good dancer for she's more musically-inclined. But she's determined and interested to learn so I let her join. Since it's summer, they practice ballet everyday for more than an hour from Monday-Friday. And finally, on May 28, 2011, Chloe joined her first-ever Ballet Recital (with Jazz & Polynesian Dance). I'll be sharing a video of her Tahiti Dance below, her favorite dance of all, hehe. I've posted this one on my Facebook I'll be posting it here again for others to see.

Preparing Zoe's Birthday

Baby Zoe will turn 1 year old in less than 2 months and I haven't think on what to do with her 1st birthday. I still have to look for a good venue and what will be her theme. And just like with my eldest daughter before, I want to be the one who will make birthday invitations for Zoe. I hope I will have everything ready end of the week by next month.

Renovation

Our house is currently under renovation. Workers are starting at our back so it's quite noisy at my place. I just hope baby Zoe won't be bothered much for she doesn't like the sound of the noise. It would have been great if we stayed at the other room during daytime for it's much cooler there even without aircon. But it's noisy in there so we're stucked here in our master's bedroom and closed the door and all the windows. Can't save electricity, too, for I need to put on the aircon to minimize the noise and to make my kids feel comfortable. But I'm not really sure for how long this renovation will be over...

Best Multivitamins

I definitely need to take multivitamin these days or else I will get sick easily. Our weather here is bad for it's very hot during daytime and rained all afternoon till night. And I need to do lots of household chores and I've to take care of my kids. Taking vitamins would somehow help me function well and keep me steady and healthy. I'm currently checking which of the 5 best multivitamins to take so that I can order them right away.

Right Job!

If I have my way, time and of course, money these days, I would like to enroll on and know more about tech jobs. It's one of the in demand jobs right now and I hope to be part of it. One site offers a good education for international students and hope to grab this opportunity for I know this can help me in fulfilling my dreams especially that I'm a stay at home mom looking for a regular online job.

No Current!

This day is so tiresome! I slept late last night taking care of baby Zoe. Then, she woke up today at 4 am because she was hungry then she played for awhile. I can't go back to sleep if she's still awake and finally at around 5 am, she slept. Her sleep would have not been disrupted if it was not for the current. There was brownout so right away, she woke up. I took care of her again, fed her, bathe her and played with her. And of course there was Chloe, too. She's quite big already but I still have to check on her if she's eating or washed properly. And late this afternoon, we had brownout again! Zoe was so cranky or perhaps she was afraid of the dark that she was already wailing! It was hard to calm her down. Only after she got tired that she went back to sleep. There was a heavy rain, too. She's still asleep right now and it's only at this time that I got to check my emails and hope to do some tasks..

Whoopsie! My gawd! No current again! Good thing I'm using my lappy battery but need to end now...And baby Zoe's awake and crying again! Damn! We even got no explanation from the electric company. Darn! Got to go...

My Grandpa's Hobby

I remembered my grandfather who used to work with the US veterans had a hobby of collecting coins and stamps from other countries. He put it in album and it was indeed nice to see different kinds of collectibles from all over the world. I'm not sure if he had military coins at that time. Had he lived longer, he would have asked somebody to make it for him or asked someone for a souvenir. I don't know where his album now but I hope it's still being take care of.

Online Conference

Thank goodness for our modern technology these days for everything seem to be possible. If you need to talk to someone far from you, you can easily talk to them over the internet. Even at work, it's advisable that they now have a megameeting web conferencing software to be used whenever there's an important meeting while you need the approval of your big boss somewhere. This can be of personal use, too, if you need to have a conference with your family members.

Good Exercise

My father in law likes to go on biking on weekends as a form of exercise. He even invited my hubby to join him and he did for a few times only. It was hard to keep the bike in our house at that time and when we transferred to another house, hubby put the bike at his dad's place for the meantime. He said he will get it soon when he can buy the yakima bike rack to secure the bike properly even inside the house.

Comfortable Outfit

Kids these days are so fashion conscious. A relative of ours has two sons who prefer to wear hip hop clothes because they said it is comfortable. But what makes them nice to look is that their father also wears the same thing. Perhaps they adored their dad so much that they inherited his sense of style. Or maybe it's the other way around :-)

Mommy Moments: Preggy Tales

Hello Mommies! It's Friday once again and let's share our preggy tales. I got pregnant with Chloe 9 months after I got married. I found myself lucky for I didn't experience morning sickness and I don't even crave any food (except when I attended a party that I expect them to serve us lechon, hehe).

But when I was six months pregnant, I got sick with Chicken Pox. My world turned upside side for a moment that I cried on the way to the hospital. Fortunately, I was on my second trimester that the doctor said the baby was safe. It would have been dangerous for 1st or last term of pregnancy.

I was 6months pregnant in here. Enjoying fresh air at Duka Bay after I quarantined myself at home when I had chicken pox.

And on July 18, 2003, I gave birth to Chloe Alexandra, 7.6 lbs, via C/S. I was hoping for a normal delivery but she was too big for my cervix to pass and my labor didn't progress. The pain was excruciating that I wasn't ashamed anymore to scream at the top of my lungs. Problem was, I only had 2-3 cm progress and my bag of water didn't even rupture. I had an emergency C/S and believe me when I say this, the pain was only 1/16th compared to my labor.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On my 2nd pregnancy, I promised myself I will not go on labor anymore. My mind was fixed to have my second baby delivered via C/S. It was expensive but I don't want to have traumatic experience anymore. I still didn't have any morning sickness, no craving but my back was painful. And on my 5th month, I had spotting and when I had an ultrasound, it was found out I had placenta previa marginalis. I was advised on strict bed rest with bathroom privileges. Luckily, when the baby turned her position on the 7th month, I was safe but still took extra precaution.
7 months preggy me @ Pryce Plaza Hotel celebrating Mother's Day
I gave birth to Zoe Ysabella, 6.9 lbs, on July 12, 2010 via C/S. I've experienced the pain this time especially when the pain reliever started to wear off. My feet swelled few days after I gave birth that I was given lasix to take by my OB Gyne.
But despite all these uncomfortable experiences, I was very happy to see my 2 angels especially when I held them in my arms. I was thankful that both my girls were healthy, normal and safe and that was all I prayed for. Anything to share? Join us at
Golf Gadget
Are you fond of playing golf? My dad used to play golf when he was still alive. My uncle in Illinois even gifted him with a golf set to his delight. Sad to say, he passed away. My uncle still played golf until now and I've heard he acquired golf gps for palm to make sure he won't be confuse where he will go next or what was his last stop. I guess this gadget is really helpful, huh?
