Thanking My Generous Friends

I'm so blessed to have friends like them!!!

My dear friend Amy (a blogger - Amiable Amy & Business Matters), is very generous. No wonder she is always blessed. She sent me a package thru her mom long time ago. I guess that was still last year. But I don't know their place until we transferred to another house. Her mom and I never crossed paths until today. Her mom was so kind to text me and brought the package for me. I met her this afternoon near my place. So kind of them. Amy dear, thank you so much for always being thoughtful and for counting me as your friend. I am so blessed to have a friend like you! Salamat for the pasalubong ;-)

Another friend that I would like to thank is not a blogger. Her name is Malou, a nurse and a doctor by profession. She is now based in Illinois. I forgot to post about her Christmas gifts for me last December09. I cannot even find the pics I took of the gifts she gave to my daughter Chloe, Malou's godchild. Chloe loved her gifts that she's using it on special occasions. I shall always be thankful for her and for her generosity. The pictures below were her gifts for me:

Juicy Couture Fleur de lis heart necklace (I likey very much - even the box!)

Kenneth Cole purple wallet (I just love it! So useful, light & love the color...)

Below were Malou's gifts for Chloe (I got the pics from the Internet):

JC Fleur de lis Heart Earring set

JC Cho Cupcake box and Heart necklace (locket)

Even my husband received a gift from her. Whoa! She must be Santa Claus in disguise :D

Kenneth Cole - Reaction wallet w/ key fob

Words are not enough but from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!!

Helping The Environment

We live in a world where many hazardous chemicals and wastes are being scattered everywhere. We don't deserve that as it endangers our health and destroys all living things in our surroundings just because of somebody else's ignorance to the community.

Thankfully, there is a technology today which allows waste water and other bio-organic wastes to be used as opportunity fuels, so that instead of dumping them directly into the environment where they would normally be hazardous, they can be converted into soil friendly solids and even be utilized as an alternative energy.

Have you ever heard about N-Viro International Corporation? This company develops and licenses its technology to municipalities and private sectors. N-VIC's process converts waste water sludge and other bio-organic wastes into biomineral agricultural and soil-enrichment products with real market value. In short, their system converts waste to energy.

This company has even earned in excess of $40 million dollars since it has started in October of 1993. To know more about N-VIC, watch the video below or visit them at http://www.nviro.com.

Chloe sings 'Hawak Kamay'

Sharing to you a video clip during Chloe's graduation day (taken by my FIL's digicam). She sang 'Hawak Kamay' and for the 1st time, I joined her on stage together with her dad (sorry for the noise as most of the audience were kids, hehe).

My daughter, Chloe Alexandra, finally graduated from Kinder 2 last March 18, 2010. She received an Academic Excellence award (or First Honor in other schools). I can't believe how time flies so fast! I used to rock her when she was still a baby, sang lullabies and cooed for her, read her nursery rhymes, and now, she's already 6 1/2 years old and is about to enter Grade One come June. Reminiscing the past made me teary-eyed... no, it really made me cry. My little Chloe is growing-up but in my mind and in my heart, she will always be my baby.

Congratulations, Chloe! We're very proud of you, anak!

Bed Rest...

I am currently on a bed rest. I experienced mild spotting a few days ago and I went to the hospital right away to have the placement of my placenta checked. The impression of my ultrasound was Placenta Previa Marginalis but glad that the baby's safe. I'm on my 5th month of pregnancy already but due to my delicate condition, I need to rest plenty. Now, I stopped driving our car, minimized going up and down our stairs, refrain from going to the mall :-( and I've declined several family invitations, too. I know they understand my condition and I've to do this to keep me and (most especially) the baby safe.

I'll be blogging here from time to time to keep you posted. And thanks for dropping by and for your comments. God bless you all!

Yummy Sunday: Shakey's Pizza

I love to eat at Shakey's and I usually ordered their Bunch of Lunch meal. My daughter will just order single chicken with rice but what usually happen was, she always ended eating up my pizza, my garlic bread and sometimes, my spaghetti :D

I love the taste of their garlic bread that I sometimes ordered for more. My hubby likes to order his meal with Caesar's salad.. This Sunday's entry is about the food that I ordered from Shakey's Pizza.
